One of Stanford's top targets in the 2017 class returned to campus earlier this month for a fourth time.

The Cardinal hosted Osiris St. Brown (along with his younger brother, Amon-Ra) on June 13 and June 14.

"It was good to go up to talk to Coach Shaw," Osiris St. Brown said. "We got there a day early (before the Cardinal's skills camp), so I talked to Coach Shaw. We had lunch. We also hung out with a top QB in the 2018 class (Jack West). It was good talking to them again, to catch up."

Shaw reiterated how much of a priority target St. Brown is during their conversation.

"He was just saying, as always, he wants me as bad as ever," St. Brown said. "I'm one of the top receivers on their board, and that he doesn't want me to fall away into Notre Dame just because my brother is up there. He said make this decision for yourself."

St. Brown also chatted with Stanford's two tight end commits, Colby Parkinson and Tucker Fisk, when he was on campus. The four-star wideout has also heard from the Cardinal's 2017 quarterback pledge, Davis Mills, over Twitter.

St. Brown maintains close contact with his area recruiter, Cardinal offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren, and his potential future position coach, Tavita Pritchard.

"I'd say I probably talk to Coach Bloomgren the most - him and Coach Tavita both," St. Brown said. "They're just asking how I'm doing, how's practice going, stuff like that. Just everyday stuff."

The Mater Dei High School star is currently working through Stanford's admissions process. He's enrolled in AP courses for next fall, and he's now starting to turn his attention to the application.

"(The admissions process) is good so far," St. Brown said. "Right now I have all the classes set up for my senior year. Now I just have to wait to do the application. That's the last thing you have to do."

"I haven't worked on it yet but I'm going to start looking at it. I'm going to look at the questions and see what they're asking for and maybe start brainstorming."

St. Brown doesn't have a concrete timeline for making his college decision, but he's considering doing so at the beginning of his senior season. He could release a top-five list next month.

While there a number of programs still involved in St. Brown's recruitment, Notre Dame and Stanford have long been considered the two favorites by many.

What will the deciding factor be in St. Brown's recruitment?

"Probably whichever one I feel most comfortable at and which one I see myself excelling the best at," St. Brown said. "So if I feel like I could do better at one school I'd probably take that one over the other."

The next step in St. Brown's Stanford recruitment (aside from the admissions process) could be an official visit.

"That's like the only thing left - see the campus life and see the game day live," St. Brown said.

St. Brown said that he has not talked to Stanford about a specific date, but he has been in touch with Mills about coordinating a visit with the Cardinal's 2017 signal caller pledge and possibly some of Stanford's other commits.
