Reid picks Stanford
Three-star Louisiana safety Justin Reid will join his older brother, Eric Reid, on the West Coast.
Justin announced his commitment to Stanford during a ceremony at his high school moments ago. He'll play his college football about 30 minutes away from where Eric Reid, who attended LSU, plays professionally, with the San Francisco 49ers.

Justin is a top prospect in his own right, though. He thrived against top competition at The Opening all-star showcase this summer, and backed that up with a strong senior year.
Stanford offered Reid towards the end of the high school season and immediately became a contender. The Cardinal was able to withstand strong pushes from Notre Dame and LSU, which both offered shortly after Stanford did, to land the heralded safety's commitment.
