Fifth-year senior defensive lineman Thomas Schaffer announced Tuesday morning that he will enter his name in the NFL Draft. The Austrian has already earned two degrees at Stanford and was the most improved player on the defense over the past two years.

He had 20 tackles, four tackles for a loss, and three sacks last season and his performance was especially important because of the short rotation of effective or available defensive linemen in 2020.
