Stanford lands top TE

Stanford landed one of its biggest commitments in years when perhaps the nation's top tight end, Kaden Smith committed to the Cardinal.
Smith announced his decision while on campus for an unofficial visit for the program's spring game.

Smith is currently ranked No. 8 among tight ends in by Rivals.com, but is likely rise in the rankings after an MVP performance at the Dallas Rivals Camp.
The four-star prospect picked Stanford over offers from national powers across the country, including Alabama, Texas, Georgia and many others.
Smith is the third public commitment in Stanford's 2016 class, which is off to a terrific start.
