On Thursday, 2022 3-star wide receiver Mudia Reuben out of Park Hill South High School committed to Stanford. Kansas, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas State were the other schools in his top five. Rueben has been admitted to Stanford and visited for the Oregon game earlier this fall. Reuben is the 21st commit for the Cardinal in the 2022 class and joins Elic Ayomanor as the second wide receiver in the class.

As far as what he can bring to Stanford next year, Reuben should add depth at the wide receiver position and possibly see a decent chunk of minutes out of the gates. He has solid size for a wide receiver at 6’3”, 190 pounds, is a good route runner, has good hands, and all in all is pretty well-rounded. While his offers list and final list isn’t super impressive, that shouldn’t fool people into think he’s not going to be good. He’s got a lot of the tools that you look for in a wide receiver.

As far as his recruitment is concerned, Stanford was always viewed as the front runner for Rueben going back to the early to mid-summer. An official visit to Kansas State gave some people a little bit of a pause, but in the end he was Cardinal bound as expected. Stay tuned for more updates on Reuben and what he himself thinks he’ll bring to The Farm next year.
