Harrington picks up new offer

Washington D.C. cornerback Sherrard Harrington has stayed patient with the recruiting process and it looks like it is beginning to pay off. This past week, the 6-foot-1, 188-pound Harrington picked up a new scholarship offer from the Big Ten and is getting ready to start making his official visits in January.

"I sent my tape to Iowa this month and my coach just called me to let me know that I picked up an offer from them," said Harrington. "They want to get me out there for a visit on January 14."

Harrington's other offers include Marshall, Duke, Tulsa, and Ohio. Schools such as Rutgers, Wake Forest, and Clemson also remain in contact.
