Can Vols catch Watkins' eye?

With Tennessee set to lose a pair of senior receivers off the current roster following the 2010 season the Vols will be left with just four scholarship wide receivers. With no true wideouts among the 17 names on the current commitment list, that makes closing out the class with with at least a couple of additions to the position a priority.

One player Tennessee is pushing to be a factor with is Fort Myers, Fla. receiver Sammy Watkins. He and his South Fort Myers team are enjoying an undefeated start to the season, and admits that with the goal of a deep playoff run in front of him, recruiting isn't at the forefront of his mind at this point. 

Rivals.com rates Watkins as a four-star prospect and the No. 4 receiver in the nation.
