SoCal QB discusses trip to Berkeley
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei High is a hotbed for Southern California football talent. It has long been one of Orange County's standout programs and has produced two Heisman Trophy winners in USC's Matt Leinart and Noter Dame's John Huarte.
It boasts such alumni as Colt Brennan and Matt Barkley. So with all of that pedigree, it's no wonder that Max Wittek picked up and moved from Connecticut just to be a part of that same, bright football legacy.
