August 2, 2012 Cardinal Sports Report confirmed this afternoon that a report in the Missoulian (Montana) newspaper detailing Stanford freshman quarterback Dallas Lloyd's possible transfer from Stanford to the University of Montana is false.Dallas' father, Casey Lloyd, said that Dallas has no intention of leaving Stanford, and that Dallas is looking forward to the start of Stanford's training camp, which begins this Sunday. "No, he's not going anywhere," Casey Lloyd said. "He loves it down there." Lloyd, who returned from an LDS mission to Chile earlier this year, arrived at Stanford in June for summer school. He'll join a deep, albeit unexperienced group of quarterbacks vying to replace No. 1 draft pick Andrew Luck on The Farm. "He's a Cardinal through and through," Casey said. |
