Tonga giving Tulsa a hard look

InsideTulsaSports.com Despite losing to Utah on the field Saturday, Tulsa is in good standing to win the battle for the services of Spring (Texas) High School product Westlee Tonga.
Tonga, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound TE/DE, who is told by college coaches he will be a tight end at the next level, has visited Rice and Tulsa, with a visit to Utah scheduled for January 19. He is receiving interest, but no scholarship offer to date, from the University of Oregon.
Tulsa and Utah appear to be the leaders at this point, and the Golden Hurricane stacks up well in the area Tonga deems most important.
