From the beginning, one of Stanford's top recruits in its 2007 recruiting class was Aubun (Wash.) star quarterback Kellen Kiilsgaard. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound QB had offers from schools such as Stanford, Arizona, ASU, California, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State, but in the end, chose to join the Cardinal.

Four stars, ranked the state of Washington's 3rd best player and the 11th best dual-threat QB prospect in the country by Rivals.com, Kiilsgaard's commitment would have been considered significant for any program, but to head coach Walt Harris' delight, he is going to play for Stanford.
