Frazier moves to safety
AUBURN | When the moment of truth arrived for Kiehl Frazier, he realized that he didn't love playing quarterback.
It no longer was his passion.
So the junior on Monday made the decision to end his career behind center and begin anew behind the cornerbacks. Frazier spent the team's afternoon practice re-learning a position he hasn't played since his senior year of high school.
"I don’t know if I’d say I saw the writing on the wall, but it was just something that I’ve been contemplating and thinking about," Frazier said Monday night. "I think I did well enough the first two days to put myself in a position to be the quarterback, but that’s not something that I felt like �" that’s something that you have to be all in; 100 percent. You're going to be the quarterback at Auburn, because this is one of the biggest programs in the country. And to not have your heart in it 100 percent is something that … would just be letting your team down."
