The East team receives the opening kickoff of the second half. Before the first play from scrimmage of the second half, Max Browne is honored as the US Army Player of the Year. Browne, of course, was very interested in Stanford but the Cardinal ultimately declined to offer him a scholarship offer, instead targeting Ryan Burns for its 2013 quarterback slot. It will be very interesting to track to the progress of Burns and Browne (and Alabama commit Cooper Bateman, for that matter), over the upcoming seasons.
