In late December, 2011, Stanford freshman safety Zach Hoffpauir was a verbal commitment to California preparing to head down to Southern California to play in the Semper Fidelis All American game.

One year later, Hoffpauir is on the two-deep for a top-10 ranked Stanford team that will play in the Rose Bowl.
