Steven Parker started his Thanksgiving day weekend like the rest of the world with some good home-cooked family food but unlike the rest of us followed it up with a pair of huge Sooner state rivalry games.

The first of which was his own Jenks Trojans dominating arch rival Tulsa Union in the class 6A state semi-finals to the tune of 41-10. He followed up that rivalry beat down with a rivalry with a completely different storyline as the annual Bedlam match saw the Sooners seemingly snag victory from the jaws of defeat in a 51-48 overtime thriller.

So, in a rivalry game, what's better - to have won big or to have broken your rivals heart?
