Fayetteville (NC) tight end Eric MacLain had been committed to Tennessee since last April, but as of Wednesday evening that pledge is no longer intact. He's quite familiar with Dan Brooks, as it was Brooks who initially recruited the 6-foot-5, 255-pounder when he was an assistant coach with the Volunteers. The Tigers are very much a factor here.
